Fallen/Ruin

We waited too long. A city in ruins, nature in ruin. The fires burn so beautifully and tragically. This is what we’ve done. Nature reclaims and heals. The parasite of a fallen empire.
The warnings were there. The tables have turned. The death machine has fallen. Fallen.
Fallen cities struck down by nature’s hand. Collapsed buildings in ruin. In ruin…
Those who remain face endless rain from what we’ve created. Fires burn, atop heaps of a fallen world.
As we gaze out from mountain tops we wonder how we let it become. We now understand the travesty of what we’ve created. The sun falls behind a sky blackened by ash.
The poison river flows as caustic rain falls upon the once living soil…

Offering/Growth

We gaze out toward the horizon to see the poison water flood in. The endless rain falls. A call to the flora and fauna. We ask for forgiveness. We ask for forgiveness. Those who cannot speak any longer. We could not hear your calls; we chose not to feel your pain. Now we understand. Now we understand…
Nature has turned its back. Civilization became a parasite. We hope to become feral again. Nature has turned its back. Civilization became a parasite. We hope to become feral again…
Apocalyptic darkness may fall. Though we may fall, we offer our flesh. Decompose into fungal soils, rekindle the flame of life. We offer our bones, from which trees can grow. Once again fauna may wander. Up from the concrete plants will grow.
These fires may burn temporarily, but from the ashes new life grows.
Forgive us…
